About Us

Who We Are

Hepatitis Network Nigeria is a coalition of healthcare professionals, advocates, and community organizations united in the fight against viral hepatitis.

Our Mission

To eliminate viral hepatitis in Nigeria by 2030 through coordinated advocacy, awareness, prevention, testing, and treatment initiatives.

Our Vision

A Nigeria where no one suffers or dies from viral hepatitis, where prevention is accessible and treatment is available to all.

Our Values

Collaboration, evidence-based action, patient-centeredness, equity, transparency, and accountability guide everything we do.

Our Story

A Coalition for Change

Hepatitis Network Nigeria was founded in response to the urgent need for coordinated action against viral hepatitis. With over 20 million Nigerians living with hepatitis B and millions more affected by hepatitis C, we recognized that only through collective effort could we address this challenge.

Our network brings together hepatologists, infectious disease specialists, public health experts, patient advocates, and community health workers to raise awareness, improve access to testing and treatment, and advocate for policies that support hepatitis elimination.
